Memorial...

I am sad to report the death of a friends father. My New Orleans readers all should be familiar with the boy who I refer to as "my brother Michael." Last week his father passed away. I knew about it then but wanted to wait until his obituary was listed in the paper. The family was able to hold a funeral yesterday. Michael's father was a really wonderful man who often came out with Michael for drinks in the afternoon. I am also friendly with Michael's brother Jimmy and many times saw all three of them together, laughing and enjoying each others company. Their father was a lot of fun, a very genuine person and he will be greatly missed.
